I fear that's the point for the Georgian Dream party, so the EU telling them that wouldn't change their minds.

Edit: They already did in 2022 due to other, similar laws. As long as Georgian Dream is in power, I think nothing will change here. Hopefully they'll lose their majority in this fall's election
