Where do you put the display (phone) while holding the Dualsense, Dualshock 4, Xbox Series or Switch Pro controllers?
Laying it on a table in front of you ain't an ideal solution. Then it is too far away for a good experience and often lays in an odd angle.
Wouldn't a sliding controller like Razer Kishi or Backbone One be better suited than a home console controller?
For my old Sony Xperia Compact I had a "strap-on-solution" for a DualShock controller, but rarely used it.
