JEDEC has updated their DDR5 standard, with 2 new additions specifically:

  1. Extending the standard past DDR5-6400 from DDR5-6800 all the way up to DDR5-8800
  2. Adding a Per Row Activation System (PRAC), which apparently helps with Data integrity and also helps combat Rowhammer attacks, though this also comes with a small performance penalty.
