February 2024 is when the Senate foreign aid package passed, a package which would have passed House if Johnson put it to the floor but Johnson either was a coward and afraid of the MAGA cult in House coming after his job or he was taking orders from Trump to delay it as long as possible. He has wasted months, thanks to his cowardice or bending over backwards to Trump, Ukrainians have died, innocent children have died, critical energy infrastructure has been destroyed, soldiers have died and Ukraine has lost positions because support dried up, Johnson literally has Ukrainian blood on his hands.
Only for him to finally grow a pair and put an aid package to the floor but not the Senate package, instead his own package which was almost exactly the same as the Senate bill, the only real difference is that it turns the aid into a loan, a loan which can be forgiven entirely in 2026 and as long as Biden wins, will be forgiven. He likely only did so because Democrats promised him they'd save him if the MAGA cult actually went through with a Motion to Vacate so no, he didn't show courage, he didn't put his job on the line, the Democrats have almost certainly promised to save him.
No matter what, the MAGA cult would have threatened his job because they don't want Ukraine aid full-stop, they're Russian bots and traitors to America, Mike Johnson knew this and still took his sweet time while men, women and children in died in Ukraine and now we're in a situation where aid is going to have to be delivered ASAP because time is very critical. Mike Johnson is to blame, Mike Johnson caused this, Mike Johnson has blood on his hands, so no, he isn't a Churchill, he is a coward who finally did the right thing because Democrats likely promised to save him.
And look, the MAGA cultists haven't even gone through with their motion to vacate, so even more of a waste of time.
All he got was the ability to brag about him forcing Ukrainians to pay America to save their lives (until it's forgiven).
