If you look at Alan Wake 2 with Path Tracing, even 4090 is barely above 30fps at native 4K, so even a potential console with something similar inside it would be barely called 4K console.

Wholly agreed.  Which is why I giggle when new consoles are announced, the hype is always amusing.  Rumors are even better.  

I was hoping for most games being native 1440p at 60 fps, or at least 40 fps 120 hz.  Perhaps I'm too fps driven, but 30 fps is terrible and needs to die.
