Well, now that Switch is approaching that figure, there's more incentive to shed light on final PS2 figures. Of course you are correct that the odds are still low, but then again, Layden revealed exact PSP numbers after he had already left Sony.

That is why I tweeted Layden, which is how we got the exact number of PSPs sold. I am hoping he has a PS2 with the exact figure produced like with the PSP and is willing to share an image of it. Or at least can corroborate that the PS2 sold 160M lifetime. A lot of people aren't trusting what Jim Ryan said.
