Or cancelled.

Rocksteady ain't ever doing another "one and done" single player game again...

Their next title will probably be something like "Joker Squad: Kill the Suicide Squad"

What's crazy is Monolith Products is close to Rocksteady in taking forever to release their next game lol. 2017 was their last release and I don't think Wonder Woman will be till 2025 at the earliest.

Yeah, we're looking at 8 years of development on Wonder Woman by the time it finally releases, when each of Monolith's previous games took 3 years at most. That will result in an absolutely massive budget, 8 years of developer salaries on the budget when Monolith has 184 devs according to LinkedIn (WB probably has another studio supporting development as well since 184 devs is not alot for a big AAA GaaS game, so that is even more salaries going toward the budget). Massive budget just seems like a recipe for failure, I just can't see Wonder Woman being good enough nor popular enough to drive the kind of sales needed to break even, let alone become profitable.

And now they will give the same GaaS treatment to Hogwarts Legacy 2. The first game took them 5 years to make, as it was Avalache Software's first ever AAA game so it took time to staff them up to AAA size. With GaaS features tacked onto Hogwart's Legacy 2 now, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it doesn't end up releasing until 2029 or 2030, 6-7 years after the first game.
