I think you can change some music in the settings. They should have had music done like Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, MC has his own MP3... And if you don't know how it's done in Infinite Wealth well... play it

Yeah, you can change the BGM (battle music) but you can't change the music while you're walking around in Tartarus (which you could in P3FES). Maya's theme
