It's insanely hard fighting DK with Metaknight. Marth is a more even match up. I'm just not sure if my skill with Marth is good enough. His DK is one of the biggest threats for me on the entire site, because metaknight can't run him over. |
I've fought his DK with my Marth before.
And DK's smashes and Fair has some obvious startup animation.
Once you see him open his hands, usually when he sends you flying, use counter(Try angling an attack in once in awhile though as to not get predictable), don't attempt to airdodge.
Why don't you try playing possums DK and familiarize yourself with DK's moves.
It would be good practice.
