Idk, I find the whole "price cuts are difficult" to be an odd line. Simply because Xbox seemed to have no issue dropping the Series X price to 350 last holiday period. And I hear Sony has been doing some pretty sizeable cuts on PS5 in Europe (literally their strongest territory btw). It's not like people are asking for you to cut the price of a console in half or something and both have already shown the willingness to cut prices by significant amounts. Keeping the price high will reduce sales of consoles.
