Now that's a steel grinder!

Russia is throwing everything they have into this battle, their losses amount to about 80% of what they can produce in an entire year in terms of tanks and about half of the APC iirc. That just ain't sustainable over long periods of time, especially since due to lack of sophisticated western tech, newly produced tanks and IFV may well be inferior in some regards to those that they currently have.

With Europe strongly ramping up their shell production, Russian losses during offensives will get even higher, while it also allows fur Ukraine to counterattack. Unless Russia wants to risk bleeding out their youth, they will not be able to continue fighting for more than 2 additional years once the supply from Europe is achieved, doubly so after the new armament factories in Ukraine build from western companies come online.
