For a long time, I thought gaming in the '90s was the best. Then Steam and analogous console services came around.
I like games that are very earnest the most typically and while I find only so much of that in today's mainstream gaming landscape, I find more than all I need in today's indie market and this -- like the 2010s and '20s -- is my favorite period in the history of this medium, to that end.
