Played a few hours of Palworld today. Survival games aren't really my cup of tea, but Palworld has been made more accessible than most of the other survival games I have tried like Grounded and Ark, thanks to the casual mode option, the tutorial, and just an all around better UI (especially compared to Ark, I was utterly lost in that UI when I tried to play it). It has some issues for sure, most notably either the framerate or frame pacing is very poor (because the game looks very choppy to me and I'm not even a big framerate nut, I usually don't see framerate issues), and the map isn't great (my next tutorial quest is send me to a tower but there is no marker on the map telling me where that is). With some more updates I think it could be a truly great game.

Is it you or did someone who started to play video games two weeks ago take over your VGC account?

It's me. I assume you're referring to me playing on casual mode? I almost always play games on the lowest difficulty, with only a few exceptions, I play Halo on Legendary usually and I completed Dragon Age Inquisition on Nightmare (something that only 0.43% of players have done according to TA). I typically don't like to challenge myself when playing singleplayer games, I play them to chill and have fun slaughtering my enemies, I get my challenge fix from playing multiplayer games where I am usually in the upper few tiers in ranked. There was no way I was playing anything but casual in a survival game like Palworld, you drop everything when you die on the higher difficulties, and that just doesn't fly with me.
