True burt thats the point I'm making, WITHOUT the tweaking Oblivion will be a stuttering joke while is pages memory backwards and forwards with less than 1GB, and still hitch a fair amount with less than 2GB.
By doing what you suggested, it shows that these fairly basic tweaks can easily be applied by developers so that games like that can run smoothly with 512MB of RAM, at the expense of having more load points and that sort of thing.
