Europe charts and data has been updated to December 2023. After an incredible November for PlayStation with the heavy promotions to sell-out of the old PS5 model December has been lacklustre by comparison and couldn't compare with the PS4's monstrous December 2016. Xbox Series had a poor month, the Xbox One in it's equivalent month sold 75% more units and even more damningly the X360 in it's equivalent December sold over triple the units. The Nintendo Switch had a very nice boost compared to November, at this late stage it seems becoming one of the top 3 selling consoles in Europe is out of reach but reaching the 40.05m of the Gameboy could be a close battle.
