Spoiler!

Given this new information today, May for Helllblade 2 and 2nd half for Towerborne, these are my release window predictions for each of the expected and possible Xbox games in 2024:

May- Hellblade 2

June- Ara: History Untold

August- Avowed

September- Flight Simulator 2024, Stalker 2 (timed exclusive)

October- Forza Horizon 6, Towerborne

November- Oblivion Remaster

December- Ark 2

????-Indiana Jones

I feel pretty confident on each of those, but Indiana Jones is a bit of a conundrum. The 2nd half of the year is pretty crowded and I'm not sure where it would slot in there. It seems like it would be a Holiday release, and yet we've already heard that Oblivion Remaster will be late 2024 (if it makes 2024 at all) and I can't see Bethesda releasing both in the same month or even one month apart. Meanwhile Shinobi made it seem like release was pretty close. Could be that Xbox is going to have a 2-3 month rapid fire marketing campaign leading up to a release in March or April, or it could be that they will release it sometime in 2nd half, likely on the same month as another Xbox game. I hope we don't have to wait all the way until May for our first Xbox release of the year, Xbox really needs to work on spacing out their games throughout the year.

Xbox should have a release in Q1 still though I would imagine.

I really hope they do, but it's not looking good so far. The two that seemed most likely to be Q1 releases based on how long each has been in development for, Towerborne and Hellblade 2, are now looking like they won't make Q1. Our best hope of a Q1 release now would be either Ara, or Indiana Jones having a very short pre-release marketing campaign of only about 2 months. A shadow drop release like HiFi last year was also shot down today, so I don't think anything new such as a Double Fine game will get announced at the developer direct for release in Q1.
