It just doesn't help their narrative as a console platform. Especially what Phil has said above. Why not put everything on Switch years later? Doesn't benefit Xbox fans at all. Can't wait for hi fi to get a physical on Switch and not xbox lmao. Can't even negotiate getting Bayonetta 2 and 3 either. Sure other studios at xbox aren't thinking why not put our games on switch as well? Least their audience supports their games blah blah blah.

Keep hearing about how it would mean extra revenue (I mean no shit could say that about everything being on multiple platforms). Not like Xbox is close to tencent in sales.

Can't blame other devs for skipping xbox when MS doesn't even prioritize Xbox.

That is the problem.  Most of you are still in this console war mindset but MS has left that long ago.  MS just do not care about the console war nor do they care about trying to protect the Xbox in that manner.  MS has turned the corner and is a gaming company with services and that is and will be their main focus going forward.  So as soon as you leave the console war, console exclusives and console mindset is when you will truly see MS direction.

Its not about it being extra revenue more than its about leaning into what MS as a company does best.  MS is a service company first and foremost and their whole approach towards gaming once Phil decided that GP was going to be their main focus is to align all of MS gaming towards that end.  Stop holding on to the crumbs of the past as MS lost the console war a long time ago.
