16xx cards do not support DLSS (or ray tracing), so the new 3050 will be an upgrade in that regard. My guess is that nvidia will phase out these 16xx cards eventually.

They already do, there's only a few cards available and those who are tend to be 1650 or even just 1630 cards, so basically stuff they couldn's sell yet.

Even with DLSS, those won't be any good. And RT with just 6GB and it's low performance is a laughable idea.
