The VGChartz estimates are out for Europe and I thought this was noteworthy enough to have it's own thread. The PS5 just posted the all-time record for European sales in a November month according to VGChartz estimates. After 15 years the DS's 2008 record has fallen, bar any adjustments of 154k or more.  Please note this is only counting systems that are tracked by VGChartz. (I.E No PS2). I do not have the numbers to say whether PS2 ever had a stronger November in European sell-through.

Here are the top 12 November European sales (every time a console sold over 1m units)

Console Year Sales
PS5 2023 1,710,324
DS 2008 1,556,491
PS4 2015 1,281,992
PS4 2016 1,257,341
DS 2007 1,203,386
PS4 2014 1,134,004
Wii 2008 1,054,118
PS4 2017 1,047,150
Switch 2021 1,034,812
Wii 2009 1,026,395
PS4 2018 1,008,523
Switch 2020 1,004,781

In terms of global sales it is the 4th best November on record.

#1 DS (2008) - 3.88m
#2 Switch (2021) - 3.73m
#3 PS4 (2015) - 3.557m
#4 PS5 (2023) - 3.545m
