Are you still a lot here to really believe that MP4 was reported because the first draft quality was disappointing?

This game was going to be ridiculous on Switch compared to the current gen, so they have cancelled the Switch release to upgrade it dramatically to have a strong technical demonstration on the next console.

Where are you getting this information (rumors, leaks, quotes) that Metroid Prime 4 will not release on the Switch?

Because I have info (granted rumors) that it is almost completed.
"According to PapaGenos, as reported on the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, the development of the fourth entry in the series is basically done and has been for a good while."
The reason why it isn't released yet is because the cutscenes have been deemed to be very bad in quality.

I agree Nintendo still has a good catalog of franchises they haven't touched in a long time.

DK
Rhythm Heaven
Tomadachi
Nintendogs
Star Fox
Mario + Luigi (though the studio is defunct as of 2019)
Kid Icarus
Ice Climbers
Punch-Out
Dr. Mario

And a couple of other franchises that we can assume will come out soon
Let's Go Johto
Pokémon Legends
Pokémon Gen-remakes
Game Freak & Studio Ghibli game
New Monolith IP
Mario & Sonic at the Paris Olympic Games 2024

Games I personally would love to see make a comeback for the Switch in 2024
Rhythm Heaven: Switch
Donkey Kong Country 4
Pilot Wings: Switch
Switch Sports Resort
Flipnote Studio: Switch
Art Academy: Mario, Zelda, Pokémon
Mario, Zelda, Pokémon Picross (from Jupiter Corporation)
ARMS 2
Nintendimals? (Nintendogs Switch)
And send their Phone App Games to the Switch to buy/free downloads.

Nintendo has a lot to work with and can help push Switch sales farther.
I want to say that Nintendo will do a March 2025 release for the NG, but I will stick with November 2024 until new information arrives.
But I do agree if the NG comes out in March 2025, the Switch will have a very easy time surpassing the PS2 and reaching 160+M.

"Mario, Zelda, Pokémon Picross (from Jupiter Corporation)"

I hated that they, stupidly, omitted touch control for Picross on Switch when it first released but now that they've fixed that, I'm all for Picross-everything on the system.  And you can add Waverace to that list of games; Waverace 64 was amazing when it released.  Nintendo needs another one of those.

Yeah, I think 2024 is the year for Switch 2 (still sticking with September), with Switch still having a fair chance at 10m+ for one final fiscal.
