So I voted other and will list 3 games I enjoyed the most from 2014.

Freedom Planet (PC) - a sonic like clone that is better than Sonic and one of the best indie games I played
Bravely Default (3DS) - a great FF Spinoff
Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS) - one of the best games in the series and at the time the best Kirby game since Super Star.

If you had to narrow it down to only one game (and you do), which one would it be?

My 2014 GOTY which I scored a 97 out of 100 - Freedom Planet

Mainly because even though Bravely Default was a great game overall - the second half of the game kind of fall apart story line wise (but the other aspects of the game make up for that).

Kirby Triple Deluxe is great and all but...

Freedom Planet I thought was really unique, the story/characters - the gameplay, presentation and everything - which is why it was 2014 GOTY.
