So, seems like Ubisoft really shit the bed on Avatar, reviews sitting on 69 average. Some critics are enjoying it a good bit, for instance there are 6 reviews above 85 and the highest of those is a 9.5. However, quite alot of critics are saying that they basically just made Far Cry: Avatar with the gameplay loop near identical to what Far Cry has had since Far Cry 3. One critic noted the extreme irony in an Avatar game where you are forced to kill the wildlife for crafting materials ala Far Cry, considering the whole point of Avatar is living in balance with the wildlife and protecting them from the humans.
Makes me a bit worried for Ubisoft Massive's Star Wars game now.
