I think its criminal Nintendo hasn't released a Nintendogs or Tomadachi Life sequel on Switch. Tomadachi Life has been heavily requested and with a huge amount of AC fans on Switch I'm sure people want more life simulation type games on Switch, same goes for Nintendogs. I feel like games like that could appeal to audiences Nintendo hasn't appealed as much to this gen. I could see people who haven't played on a Nintendo console since the DS being interested in a Nintendogs sequel.

I would LOVE to have Nintendogs on the Switch, or even its successor!

EPD 9 is in charge of Nintendogs. EPD 7 is Tomadachi.
EPD 9 has been invested in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, and development of Mario Kart X, and porting Luigi Mansion 2 to Switch. We could possibly get a Nintendogs for Summer 2025, after the release of Mario Kart X. I say this because the last installment was Nintendogs + Cats back in 2011 on the 3DS. It sold 1.7 million copies, same amount as Miitopia, and more than WarioWare (which now has 2 games on the Switch).

EPD 7 has been working on WarioWare: Get it Together, and WarioWare: Move It, which sold 1.34M and a minimum of 64k respectively (It released Nov 3rd so numbers regarding it will be low). So yes, they could make Tomadachi Life, they could be working on another Metroid Dread-like game.

I personally think Nintendo is dropping the ball not making a Rhythm Heaven installment, especially on the Switch.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 160 million (was 120 million, then 140 million, then 150 million)

PS5: 130 million (was 124 million)

Xbox Series X/S: 54 million (was 60 million, then 57 million)
