40. Kirby and the Forgotten Land
I started playing Kirby with Superstar Ultra on the DS and then went back to explore the rest of the series. I've enjoyed all of them to some extent, but none of them ever really impressed me until Forgotten Land. Moving the series to 3D vastly expanded the fun of exploration and seeking out all the little secrets and collectibles scattered around the world. Add to that puzzles in 'Mouthful mode', building and expanding the Waddle Dee Village with your efforts, and the roster of wild bosses (especially once you unlock the boss rush mode) and it's just a package that's full of fun. It does lose some points with me for Kirby's sluggish movement speed, which becomes especially frustrating when fighting the final secret boss, but it's still a great game.
