@Soriku: Why would a new Xenogears be out of the question? With the lack of a real console champion like PS1-2 they have to divide their franchises, which means that they could use something like Xenogears to serve the hardcore RPG gamers on Wii.
As it stands right now Marvelous, Atlus and Namco are already putting their main RPG efforts on Wii. Square has to do something on Wii to be able to compete. Their 2 most important franchises are already not on the Wii, and with all your respect KH is not a very hardcore RPG. Something like Xenogears could work, because the fans aren's graphic whores so the series is not that constrained by expectations.
