I just don't get why production numbers for Xbox Series are still this low. They needed to be able to stay in stock all of November and December to have a good chance of reclaiming the launch aligned lead with Xbox One.

Xbox One sold 4.4m in November and December 2016, while Xbox Series sold 3m in November and December last year, so Xbox needs to sell like 1.7m more units in November and December than last year just to tie up Xbox One. It just doesn't seem like they're going to have the stock levels to pull that off so far.
