I thought that Mario Wonder would sell at least 20 millions easily and now it looks very unlikely with the Switch being near the end , the legs can not be that big.

How can it be disappointing when it is the biggest opening of a Mario 2D ever? It at most can be not as high as you expected or wanted, but then your expectations were to high.
