A lot of folks have multiple systems, so even if they're a Sony fan they might like Twilight Princess. For example I am a Nintendo fan, but I voted for Halo in 2001 and Halo 2 in 2004 over Nintendo's games because I had an Xbox as well.

There was no Mario nor Zelda that year!

GoldenEye is still second 1997 while Half-Life only got 9 votes vs 44 for OoT lol.

The best Mario and Zelda games being among the best games ever made isn't much of a hot take.

Nintendo fans do have the highest representation here of the big three, but Sony is pretty close behind. It feels like about 45% Nintendo, 40% Sony, 15% Xbox/PC if I had to take a guess.
