I suddenly don't want Mike Ybarra as president of Blizzard "WHAT ABOUT STARCRAFT?!" *Ybarra ignores him* pain........

Yeah, the poor treatment of Starcraft at Blizzard is kind of sad. Starcraft 2 and it's expansions have sold something like 8m+ lifetime, which is down compared to the 10m+ on StarCraft 1 and it's expansions, but still well above what non StarCraft RTS games sell. To put into context just how popular StarCraft is relative to other RTS games, StarCraft 1 and 2 and their expansions had sold 17.6m as of 2015, 2 years later in 2017 the StarCraft franchise passed $1b in revenue, from just 2 games and their expansions; compare to 2 other popular RTS series, Age of Empires and Total War, AoE sold 25m between like 5 games and their expansions and re-releases as of 2020 (AoE 1, AoE 2, AoE 3, AoM, AoE: M), while Total War had sold 36m between 14 games as of 2021; so on a per game basis StarCraft is well ahead of AoE and Total War in terms of sales. Doesn't really make sense for Blizzard to continue ignoring it like they have been.
