because Nintendo doesn't have an achievement system or trophies like Sony and Microsoft. and how much this is missed by its users

Its fun? just like the fun of playing games? if you want, we can argue that games as a whole bring nothing of value and are just a waste of time, not just trophies.

it gives you a reason to continue playing a game you enjoyed playing. I finished GoW in like 20 hours, and the trophy hunting alone made me go an extra 6 hours and found places and stuff to do I otherwise wouldn't have found. Without the trophy system, I wouldn't be interested in playing once I finished the story. Shit is fun!
