I will say that I think any Japanese third party is basically shooting themsleves in the foot by shunning Switch/Switch 2 at this point. A lot of them still target PlayStation only for the home market despite Nintendo outselling them 3:1 or even 4:1.
So when series like Final Fantasy, Persona, Kingdom Hearts, Like a Dragon, etc, inevitably don't come to Switch 2 I think they're missing a lot of potential sales.
The weird thing is that the argument used to be that PlayStation would result in bigger Western sales, but ofc Nintendo have been selling better than PS in the West too recently. Also, Switch owners clearly like Japanese games too (whereas PS userbase has many who don't), so focusing on Nintendo seems like a better bet to sell in the West too imo
