I get the feeling that Grounding Inc, the developer, pushed for an Xbox release here. Cygames have totally ignored Xbox thus far, while Grounding Inc supports Xbox a good bit, they developed Crimson Dragon (one of my favorite Xbox One exclusives) and co-developed The Good Life with Swery's studio, which was not only on Xbox but was put on Gamepass as well.
