Well, it was enough that Ukraine also didn't gain much the whole summer except for a few villages where 10-300 people lived in in the past. The reason why Ukraine didn't lose more is because they at least understand when it's not the right time while Russia just doesn't care if they lose 20k more soldiers as needed for some small city. If Ukraine would be as stupid they would have lost all their Leos and Bradleys already but thank god their commanders care about the life of Ukrainians (and their good equipment)
And around 1/4 of all Bradley/Leo/Striidsvagn confirmed (and there will be some you don't get pictures or confirmations from so probably more like 1/3) isn't a few.
So yes, Western equipment saved many lives but it's also true that Ukraine lost around 1/3-1/4 of them without gaining much and didn't lose more because they aren't as stupid or they would have lost all of them for a few more small villages like Russia would.
