Didn't the WoW dev team a few years back put a good bit of effort into making WoW work on controller on PC? I definitely seem to recall that. I even remember them suggesting it was groundwork for a possible console port, though then I also remember them later saying that a console port wasn't planned. But anything is possible once the Xbox acquisition closes, if they get WoW working fairly efficiently on controller on PC, why not port to console? It can only mean good things for Microsoft, more WoW subs. It could also boost Gamepass subs if they tie some kind of basic tier WoW sub into Gamepass Ultimate or at least offer a discount on a WoW sub if you are subbed to Gamepass.
