I'd 100% them if they gave a bigger XP reward but for now I'm just spreading my Empire 😈

Yeah, that would be nice, the XP rewards for surveying aren't that high, I think I get like 200 XP for each planet trait I scan and then 200 XP for the full planet completion, which is well below what you can earn through XP farming methods.
