Hope Microsoft doesn't have any Unity projects upcoming.

They don't use Unity all that often honestly, their last 5 Unity games were Pentiment (2022), Ori and the Will of the Wisps (2020), Battletoads (2020), Super Lucky's Tale (2017), and ReCore (2016), they've released probably 5x that many games on other engines during the same 7 year time span. All but one of those 5 Unity games were 2nd party games, and we can pretty safely rule out Ori 3 or ReCore 2 being in development, since Moon moved on to make a 3rd party multiplat RPG, and ReCore 2 would already be announced if it was in development. Maybe Josh Sawyer was already using it on his next game at Obsidian, but even if he was, that game would be less than a year into development at this point, so it would be pretty easy to change engines at this point. Maybe they have some upcoming 2nd party games using it, but none of their announced 2nd party games are using it, Towerborne for instance is likely using the custom engine built off of Adobe AIR that Stoic used on Banner Saga, while Ara is using the Nitrous engine.
