It's $700 only because the manufacturer makes $0 on games. They have to make all their money on the hardware and on a niche device the profit margin has to be really fat. It's not that much better than Steam Deck which is $399.99 but Valve can subsidize the cost because they make some money off game sales.
Also you sound an awful lot like an alt of another "dude" in this same thread, that would be super lame.
