Split Screen ( a dying practice?)

Lack of split screen is terrible for families. I'm not buying two ps5 units, two copies of a game, two TVs and two PSN subscriptions.

I've often wondered how much of a factor Nintendo's focus on local MP has helped their sales. Even weak coop like Odyssey is better than none nothing and frankly was great with the kids.  Mario Kart, Smash, LM3, Pikmin 3, Pikmin 4, etc.....  Mario Wonder......
