Twitter from what I have seen is absolutely roasting IGN US. For instance somebody brought up that they recently gave Immortals of Aveum an 8/10, one point higher than the 7/10 they gave Starfield, even though Aveum is objectively a worse game (sitting on 73 on Opencritic). Other people are likening it to the IGN "too much water, 7.8/10" meme from Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Others are bringing up how basically every single other country's IGN gave it a higher score than IGN US.
