Ah, so he didn't break NDA it seems, he was commenting on what was shown at Gamescom I guess. He implies here that nobody in the ReedPop network got early review code do to already being on Bethesda's blacklist. Gaming publications and video game youtube channels in the ReedPop network include: Eurogamer, GameIndustry.biz, VG247, Rock Paper Shotgun, Nintendo Life, Outside Xbox, Pure Xbox, Push Square, and Digital Foundry. Dring implies here that none of those sites got early code and therefore are under NDA. That is a bit of a shame, no early code for Digital Foundry means we'll be waiting awhile for their tech analysis of Starfield. That many publications being blacklisted and not getting early review code could potentially result in lower reviews from them when those reviews do come in eventually, dragging down Starfield's score.

If they downgrade their score based on when they get the code then they shouldn't be reviewers, Lol.

I know Zenimax is brutal but I can't believe that many would be blacklisted, I'll have to check journalists from each one and see if any have a code, Lol.

It definitely happens though. Take Redfall for instance, the early reviews were noticeably more positive than the late reviews. Like 25 of Redfall's 3, 4, and 5 out of 10 scores came from critics who weren't given early review code by Bethesda, compared to only 6 reviews from the critics who got early code and had their review ready at the embargo drop giving it a 3, 4, or 5 out of 10 review. And if you look at the highest reviews for Redfall, all but one or two of them were posted by critics who got early code. Some critics tend to get a bit entitled about getting early review code and get pissy when excluded from early code drops.

Hopefully Dring is wrong and the full ReedPop Network wasn't excluded from Starfield's early code drop.
