$399 with good specs and no/few gimmicks. They can always pricedrop and/or release a cheaper model a couple of years later.

The "expensive doesn't work for Nintendo" argument should have died with the Switch launch, but people forgot how they were dooming the hell out of the Switch before launch, arguing that it was "too expensive" for a Nintendo system.

I hope Nintendo doesn't cheap out.

Depends on how you define too expensive.  I think above $400, and especially, $500, would absolutely be a major mistake.

While many are arguing inflation as the reason for the switch 2 being more expensive, that cuts both ways.  Inflation means people have less disposable income.  $450 to $500 would be a terrible idea.

I'm sure they will charge 400 and you will buy 3 copies for your home anyway. You know why I think that? Because people argued Switch 300 USD was too expensive. And people who have bought multiple DS/3DS were never going to buy multiple Switches because 300 (now 350 with OLED) was too expensive

Seems like 350 USD is actually not at all expensive as OLED is the best selling SKU right now

400 for a base model, 450 for a premium model e maybe 300 USD for a Lite (handheld only) is the way to go this time.
