Don't really see the issue tbh. Yeah getting credited for it woulda been nice (assuming they did use fan music) but it's essentially copyright-free work. Most people would be happy to see it being used. The Pokemon Company hires a lot of individuals like with their arts and animations. I wouldn't be surprised if they hire or contract random editors, and that editor probably searched up the music on YT and used it. Which is completely fine
