Probably coincidence, given that both are based on an existing Pokemon music theme. There's a lot of music that sounds like other music, that's why there are endless dumb "you copied this chord progression" lawsuits...
The music style is pretty derivative to start with... it's something we've heard 100 times before, just Pokemon version.
