I think that needs to change in my opinion

Everyone talking about how Microsoft is buying companies and how Sony should acquire square enix, meanwhile I'm here asking, when is Nintendo just going to buy gamefreak?

But why?

GameFreak is nothing without the Pokemon IP and they can't take the IP with them anywhere. That's where value is for Nintendo, not GF as a developer.
