"You say that like it makes any of it better."

It doesn't make it better, my intent was to show how BTC had edited out portions of PragerU's video in such a manner as to provide an incomplete picture.

PragerU's video provided an incomplete picture of Columbus and BTC provided an incomplete picture of PragerU's video.

Any portion of a bigger thing is going to be an incomplete picture. 20 seconds of a 13 minute video is an incomplete picture. A single paragraph out of a book is an incomplete picture.

If something is problematic, you don't have to show the entire context to know if it's bad. Unless the overall context is something like "oh this is what bad people think:", or "this is an example of something that's wrong", nothing changes.

People constantly "edit out" portions of things, because you don't usually need to understand the entire context to understand if something is problematic.

There are entire businesses who are predicated on summarizing content so you get the important stuff. That's what search engines do, that's what a lot of a journalism is about. That's what a large chunk of social media does. A lot of people work very hard to give you just enough context to understand what is going on.

Cutting content, "giving an incomplete picture" means absolutely nothing.

Cutting content in a way that completely changes the meaning of the subject, that is a serious subject. That is a serious moral failing. But that's not what happened here. As I said, the full context makes Prager U look even worse.

I think you will enjoy this clip of Whoopi Goldberg calling Republicans stupid and saying she hates Republicans:

I'm completely unsure what you think your point is here.
