This is great news. MW2 had great maps but the MP gameplay was imbalanced as crap with things like the OP dual wielded Terminator Winchester Model 1887 shotguns blasting you away from halfway across the map with no need for accurate aiming (at least until the range nerf that came with patch 1.07), suicide sticky grenade builds, increased running speed + infinite sprint + increased melee lunge range builds, and of course the rampant hacking problem with people giving themselves fast rate of fire infinite ammo grenade launchers. Would be great to see MW2 maps back again with hopefully more balanced gameplay this time around.
