The reality is negative Xbox news brings in more views than anything else, it’s the same on this site… an Xbox article will get the same set of users rage clicking just to spout absolute nonsense (and be completely shrugged off by the mod team who have deemed it completely ok to trash Xbox on this site .. and don’t come at me mod team you know damn well it’s true) … and it’s the same for the bigger sites. Never, since I started playing video games have I ever seen the sheer volume of Xbox negativity that I see now off “reputable” gaming sites IGN and their ilk. Intentional rage baiting, like IGN and their upcoming games video intentionally leaving Xbox out of the platforms or the amount of negative articles Starfield is getting off sites like PCGamer constantly. It’s sad that you honestly cannot be an Xbox gamer online in 2023 coz the overall message is “get fucked for liking Xbox” … oh well, Starfield is launching soon and I fully expect these trash sites that have railed on it for simply not being on PS5 to give it high scores (except maybe PCGamer coz those guys got a fucking hate boner for this game) and let’s face it, if it was a PS5 exclusive like originally planned you know for sure these same sites would be praising it to high heaven just coz it wouldn’t have been on Xbox.
