Allegations: The Pokémon company uses fan created music

Recently, an allegation has sprung up claiming that the latest trailer for Pokémon scarlet and violet uses snippets of a fan created arrangement of the area zero theme in their latest trailer showcasing the DLC

Having listened to each theme, yes there are similarities between the two, obviously, but does anyone else think that the Pokémon company "stole" from this YouTube creator?
