Not to downplay what Larian has been able to accomplish, but I wouldn't call them a small operator. 

They have 6 studios and over 450 employees now. They're in line with the likes of Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games.

Absolutely, but they're small fries compared to the studios that have dominated the RPG space for at least a decade now. The fact that they've kept their passion throughout an impressive growth period is an ever better sign. For me, they're the Bioware of the modern era; let's hope they don't take the same path from here on out.
