Having sell-through is nice. Should give a more proper idea to how many PS5s are in the channel since it was widely believed that Sony overshipped heavily in Q4 to surpass their prior adjusted forecast. Getting another data point is always good, congrats Sony.

Fortunately, a sold through breakdown has also been provided.  Sony can't just overship consoles.  Someone has to be buying them.  Retailers don't have infinite storage space.

But in reality, given the stock shortages, why would people believe that they needed to  (or even could) overship'?  Why do people think that all of that demand would just evaporate?  Its not logically consistent.  I thought the bet was whether they could actually produce the units to begin with lol.
